I think Luke would have done well with Carlyle I think that is one guy who could have learned from Randy as he is a protypical defensive first guy. Having said that I take JVR over Luke ten out of ten. JVR has improved greatly here since his Philly days and no reason he wont continue to get better.

We don't get a 3rd from Calgary because they had to make the playoffs AND colborne had to get 10 goals. We will receive a 4th rd pick (94th overall)I still don't mind the trade though, Joe will never be a top 6 forward

hmm thats a thinker...both the players we send are better offensively, and both their players are better on the other side of the puck.

Maybe we can pawn Franson off on a team to move up in the draft.

He's gets a d- Bernier his only saving grace. Every other move was not good. Didn't even like Raymond.

The non trades at the deadline when it was obvious this team was in trouble trouble me. Big F in my book. Move him before Carlyle.

I liked the bolland trade and the mason Raymond signing. Thought those two pieces could make a big impact on your offense. Tj Brennan will be a great player if you guys choose to keep him.

The Maple Leafs will receive a fourth-round pick from the Flames; however, that pick will become a third-rounder if Colborne scores 10 goals or 35 points in the 2013-14 regular season and Calgary qualifies for the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
